For a wedding
guests won't soon forget, outdoor decor can be important, too,
especially if the wedding is in the home. Make an immediate
impression by creating a festive and inviting atmosphere which
beckons to guests and welcomes them in. The warm glow of twinkle
lights is a simple, but highly effective way to accomplish this.
Consider lining the walk ways with luminaries as well. (When using
any form of candle, indoors or out, always be sure to exercise
extreme care and follow all rules of fire safety). Use similar soft
lighting to decorate a porch or patio as well, creating a pretty view
for guests to gaze out at from indoors.

Enter a place of
holiday delights, shining with the glamor and warmth of gold. Gilding
doubles the shimmer of the glass tray and richly fluted votive cups.
A look of absolute opulence results when some diamond cut glass beads
are tossed onto the tray and a swirl of rich gold organza ribbon is
added for accent. A small, low centerpiece such as this one is
appropriate for small, intimate reception tables and will work
particularly well if the reception room is rather small as well.

A massive
combination of pillar candles, grouped in different sizes, can make a
dramatic centerpiece statement. Here, the candles have been placed on
an assortment of mirror tiles to enhance their glow through
reflection. To take the look to the next level, delicate garlands of
diamond cut beads, interspersed with multi-faceted glass ornaments,
have been casually placed around the arrangement where they twinkle
and glisten in the candle's glow. When creating a centerpiece like
this for your wedding, be sure to use only non-scented candles; you
never want to use scent at an event where food is being served as it
can affect the taste and enjoyment of the food. Further, many people
are very sensitive to scent and could experience an unpleasant
reaction, so reserve scented candles for use in the privacy of your
home, and avoid their use when hosting large numbers of guests. It's
also important to remember that all candles have a burn time, so you
will need to ensure that you are selecting candles which will burn
for the duration of the event. Some candles will burn only for an
hour or two before they completely melt away, which could literally
leave you in the dark at your wedding reception, so be sure to check
candle burn times before purchasing.

For
a reception with a very contemporary and modern style, these
stackable tealight tower lanterns are both inspired and versatile.
Blending frosted glass and brushed metal, their clean lines look
great alone or stack in towers of your own design.
