How to give away the centerpieces

I'm looking for ideas on how to give the centerpieces away in a fair, unbiased way, but something fun!

Giving away centerpieces

I am going to start with the people that were in and contributed to the weding...bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, guestbook attendant, cake servers, the girls that will hand out bubbles, girls that will hand out programs etc...

The rest will just be up for grabs as first come first get I guess.

Giving away wedding centerpieces

The only thing I've seen done is where you put something under one dinner plate at each table. Say, it could be a happy face sitcker or a small note, etc. After the dinner speeches, have the MC instruct the guests to look under their plates and let them know that the person who finds the whatever under their plate will get to take home the centerpiece at the end of the night. If you have assigned seating, make sure you put the thing-ees under the plates before you know who will be sitting where, because it should be completely randomn in order to be fair - otherwise you are picking who you want to get the centerpiece.

Giving Away The Centerpiece

I used the idea of a scratch off for each guest. In a little organza sack I placed a penny and a Lottery Scratch off that I designed for the Bride and Groom. One winner per table. It was great!!!
