save the DATE cards		 normally if you are using save the date cards you'd send them out well in advance of the invitations. The idea is that you want to give people advance notice that the wedding is coming up so that they can reserve time on their calender even before they receive the official invitation. This is generally a good idea if people will have to travel to attend, or if your wedding is taking place at a time of year that is busy and people tend to get booked up (like christmas season, or 4th of July etc). Thanks		 Thank you! That does make since. I have decided not to do the save the date cards however I am planning on doing the responds post cards. I am wanting to do them myself anyideas?
I thought I would put my return address on one side and put yes or no on the other side as well as how many can attend and the name of who is coming. Does this sound right? 		02 Jul 2008 05:01

save the dates...		 yeah i was figuring 6months sounded good with the save the dates i have already heard 2 other people haveing there wedding on the same day as me should i send mine out early so that i can asure that more will choose my wedding over the others? i know sound selfish but its my wedding!...hehe 21 Jan 2009 19:50
