Evenly tape a piece of masking tape around the jar, at approximately the mid point between the bottom and the top of the jar. Apply glue of spray adhesive to the entire surface of the jar below the tape. Be sure to cover all of that portion of the jar with glue so that you will get full coverage when you apply the glitter. Next, sprinkle generous amounts of glitter over the glue on the lower section of the jar, turning the jar as you go, until all of the lower portion of the jar is fully covered in glitter. Set aside in a safe location where the jars will not be disturbed and allow 24 hours to dry.
