Holiday season wedding color schemes have come a long way over recent years. Couples and wedding planners designing holiday season weddings these days have SO many more options than they back in the days when I was starting my wedding planner career. We left the basic red and green holiday wedding color scheme in the dust quite some time ago (thank goodness!).
In this post we’ve got three of the most stunning holiday season wedding color schemes imaginable. Each one perfectly captures the mood of the season and injects a little extra magic into a holiday season wedding.
Weddings are a magical event, and the holiday season is equally magical. Put the two together and you’ve got an utterly magical holiday season wedding – what could be better?
#1 -Purple and Blue Holiday Season Color Scheme
I love purple and blue hues for a holiday season wedding – maybe even add a little dash of pink in there. The palette lends a romantic, yet mysterious mood, evoking the sense of a cold, but beautiful winter night. See the photos directly above and below.
Hanging snowflakes suspended from the ceiling, along with lighted snowflakes projected onto the wallm bring forth the holiday season wedding theme. Over sized martini glasses with an off-white floral arrangement and white spray painted branches add that wintry touch to this reception setting.
This “night under a star-lit sky New Years Eve wedding reception sparkles with twinkle lights. Truly magical!
#2 – White and Silver Holiday Season Wedding Color Scheme
White and silver are another fabulous color scheme for a holiday season wedding.
Decorated gingerbread snowflake cookies are yummy for dessert, or as wedding favors. They’re so pretty decorated with white and silver icing in different variations and styles .
Glittery silver sequined table coverings look spectacular with white china placed upon them. Candles in a combination of clear glass votive holders and silver mercury glass votive holders add to the shimmer and reflection on the tablescapes!
#3 – White and Red Color Scheme – In That Order 🙂
A red and white color scheme (heavy on the white, easy on the red!), combined with lots and lots of glistening candlelight conveys a sophisticated yet festive mood for a holiday season wedding. The red brings out that festive flare, without the need to bring a whole lot of other color into the mix. White and red look very romantic, and dramatic, when paired together in this way.
