Dear SuperWeddings: My groom-to-be and I are not traditional at all. I want my wedding party and I to walk down the aisle to music unlike any other wedding we have been to. Do you have any ideas on out-the-norm songs? We’re looking for non traditional wedding songs. “Beautiful Day” by U2 is a song I am considering. So I need one for me walking down the aisle to, and one for when we are coming back down the aisle together at the end of the ceremony. Thanks!

But we have chosen the song for OUR ENTRANCE INTO THE RECEPTION – WE ARE GOING TO WALK INTO “THIS IS WHY I’M HOT” AND WEAR HOODIES, SUNGLASSES, AND GOLD CHINS WITH DOLLAR SIGNS. I’m getting married in 3 months, and really want to bust out from the traditional slow song thing.
So if wife-to-be agrees, we’ll be walking down the aisle to “You shook me all night long”by AC/DC and I’ll do a bit of that rolling around on the ground, air guitar and kicking stuff. It will be awesome and really shock a few of our stuffy old guests!

I’ve been pulling my hair out over this! Me and my fella are proper rockers, I love metal music but clearly this wouldn’t go down well with the wedding guests! We saw AC DC at Download 2010 and they’re my fella’s favourite group! So my entrance song for walking down the aisle (after seeing the thread above) will be Shook Me All Night Long!
