Decorating the backs of chairs at a wedding reception always makes the reception look extra-amazing. Its that level of attention to detail that really sets a wedding apart. But if its not feasible (or in the budget) for you to decorate the backs of all chairs at the reception, you can at least dress up the backs of the chairs for the bride and groom to highlight the fact that a very special couple will be seated there. This is something that is very suitable for DIY, so you don’t have to spend a lot, and the options and ideas are really endless.
Simple cardboard signs with the words “bride” and “groom” or “Mr” and “Mrs” can be very cute – just make them pretty and decorate them up to suit your style.
Wreaths are another lovely option – or perhaps combined these two ideas together as shown above in the photo at the bottom right.
Long colorful ribbons can look super-festive tied the top of the chair-back, especially when mixed or vibrant colors are chosen. Then again, an abundance of pure white satin ribbons tied to the back of the chairs can look breathtakingly beautiful, stunning in its simplicity, and of course, perfect for a wedding.
